Our Services
We have positive and comprehensive programs in place, designed to care, encourage and support the well-being of children and young people.
Crisis Care
Nothing is more important than stability in a time of crisis. We provide a short-term emergency environment that’s welcoming and caring for children and young people who are away from their homes. Our highly skilled and empathetic staff support Young People to learn new skills and find the most appropriate stable and permanent placements, if required.
Therapeutic Residential Care
A safe therapeutic homely environment, where children and young people with multiple and complex needs receive care and healing from the affects of abuse, trauma, neglect and separation from a family environment.
Youth Work Support
All young people have a voice that should be heard. We give formal and informal support, education and assistance along with personal and social development designed to help young people find their own voice in the community. This is done in agreement with the Local Community Services Department.
Supported Independence
To help develop real life skills and assist in life after care, children and young people need strong guidance and coaching to develop the necessary skills. Bright Now has experienced youth workers and mentors to help them along the way.
Supervised Contact
Contact visits from family can sometimes be difficult. To make these moments more relaxed and inviting, we have contact carers who guide, monitor and record contact visits for children and young people in care.
Mentoring
We believe mentors play a major role in guiding and teaching children and young people. Under the care of the relevant Community Services Department, our highly qualified team of mentors provide a flexible service that can be tailored to meet their specific needs.
Respite Care
For various reasons, children and young people need time away from their regular home life. We provide residential respite breaks with our experienced youth workers providing comfort, support and guidance.
