The Opportunity 

The Executive Manager – Operations is a critical role leading Bright Now’s Operations division which oversees the care and support of children and young people.  This is a fantastic opportunity for a strong leader to drive implementation of clinical and operational strategies to ensure we achieve high standards, minimise risk and adhere to legislation.

Key responsibilities

  • Lead the Operations management team to deliver Therapeutic high quality care to children and young people.
  • Coach, develop and mentor the operations workforce ensuring strong capability and performance is in place, with a focus on managing employee safety and wellbeing.
  • Development of key relationships in the community with all relevant stakeholders, ensuring strong communication for all matters, including complaints or concerns.
  • Continuously improving practice through process improvement initiatives and strategic business analysis.
  • Develop the organisational footprint and capitalise on opportunities to provide further care and support, seeking out new ways to deliver on current services.
  • Ensure compliance with policies, procedures and practices, while looking for opportunities to identify and manage risk by the development and implementation of innovative solutions.
  • Contribute to strategy and organisational growth as a member of the executive team.

Our ideal candidate will have

  • Minimum of degree in qualifications in a relevant field (EG. business/community/social services/health)
  • Whilst relevant experience within a community services organisation is highly desirable, candidates outside of the sector with relevant experience and strong personal attributes should also apply.
  • Able to demonstrate the necessary attributes to lead strategic, long-term planning, vision and goal-setting
  • A high level personal resillience
  • Demonstrated ability to lead, motivate and train team members, to establish priorities and manage competing deadlines for self and others
  • High level of interpersonal skills in engagement of stakeholders and networking
  • Current driver’s license
  • Willingness to undertake a National Police Check
  • Working with Children Check

As a bonus, you will

  • Experience of working under an Intensive Therapeutic Care (ITC) model
  • Five years senior leadership experience
  • Demonstrated capabilities around change management and organisational reform
